The Genshin Impact 5.8 update has arrived, and Phase I brings exciting news for fans: the debut of Ineffa, a new 5-Star Electro polearm user in the Astral Actuation Banner, and the return of Citlali, a 5-Star Cryo catalyst user in the Starry Night's Whispers Banner.

Ineffa joins as a Sub-DPS with a unique ability to transform Electro-Charged reactions into Lunar-Charged, boosting overall damage. Her Skill grants a shield to teammates while summoning Birgitta, who continuously applies Electro to enemies. Her Burst increases the Elemental Mastery of all nearby allies.

Citlali makes her comeback with her signature playstyle, summoning the legendary creature Obsidian Tzitzimitl through her Elemental Skill Dawnfrost Darkstar, dealing massive AOE Cryo Damage and generating a shield with 250% Cryo absorption efficiency. Her Burst, Edict of Entwined Splendor, unleashes devastating Cryo power.

Phase I also introduces the new 5-Star weapon Fractured Halo (Ineffa’s signature) and Citlali’s signature Starcaller’s Watch, along with a lineup of powerful 4-Star weapons.

Even more exciting, Phase II will feature the return of Mualani (Hydro, catalyst) and Chasca (Anemo, bow), together with their signature weapons.
