The initial plan to release Kimmy’s Collector skin “Starbound Sentry” in early January 2026 has undergone a major change in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Moonton has officially postponed the release of the skin on the original server following extensive community feedback regarding its visual quality and level of detail. This decision gives the developers additional time to refine Kimmy’s skin to better meet Collector-tier standards.

As a result, the January 2026 Exquisite Collection event will instead feature the Collector skin Xavier “Sunborn Monarch” as its main release.

Why Was the Kimmy Collector Skin Delayed?

According to several sources, the early version of Kimmy’s Collector skin received criticism because some of its visual elements and skill effects were considered not up to Collector-tier expectations. Moonton chose to improve the skin’s overall quality first, leading to Xavier taking over the January release slot. As of now, there is no confirmed date for Kimmy’s revised Collector skin release.

The Collector skin Xavier “Sunborn Monarch” takes center stage in the Exquisite Collection event running from January 1–31, 2026.
